Hi I’m David Wildman
Hi my name is David Wildman. I’m the Director of 2nd Mile Adventures and I’m married to Sarah Wildman and we have 2 dogs – Marley (8 yr old Golden) and Roxy (11 month old Boarder Collie/Shepherd mix). I’ve been doing sections of the Divide Route for 4 years now and have covered most of Colorado and Southern Wyoming.
Activities: Snowboarding, mountain biking, trail running with my wife and dogs, volunteering at our youth group, inland surfing, and surfing
Why do I want to do the Tour Divide? Well first it’s been a bucket list item of mine for 3 years now. I just recently turned 30 and I told my wife that I have to go do this in the next year or two. The Tour Divide is the ultimate bike packing adventure anyone could ask for. Its has everything you can dream up! Not only do I want to say I’ve ridden the Great Divide Route but I want to say that I did for a purpose. In our walk with the Lord we’re not to be alone. We’re to share our news with everyone we meet. I believe that do what I do and getting to raise money for 2nd Mile Missions orphanage fund just go hand in hand. Not only do we get an adventure of a life time but we get to say that it help make a difference in a kids life!
